Effective with the 2023 Miss USA competition and state preliminary competitions, women who are or have been married, as well as women who are pregnant or have children, will be able to compete.

Must be a citizen of the United States and will remain a citizen of the United States through the State Pageant and, if you win the State Pageant, through the National Pageant.

Must represent and warrant that you are a female (recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States).

Must live in your state permanently and will have lived there for at least three (3) months prior to the date of the pageant – OR – Must be a full time student in your state and will have completed one entire semester or session by December 31st.

May only compete in one State Pageant (including the District of Columbia) per pageant year.

Must comply with all eligibility requirements outlined in the official contestant entry form.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Miss Alaska USA contestants must be at least 18 and less than 28 by January 1, 2024. Miss Alaska Teen USA at least 14 and less than 19 by January 1, 2024.
